Made with mineral-rich Himalayan rock salt, these cashews are first activated, then dried to crunchy perfection - effectively still raw and full of nature’s goodness. This uncooked, unprocessed version of salted cashews is handmade in small batches and is packed with flavour, protein and heart-healthy fats. Delicious in salads and trail mixes, or simply on their own.

WHY RAW?
Nuts are among the healthiest foods you can eat. However, high-temperature cooking processes (like roasting and deep frying) may damage the healthy fat in nuts, reduce their nutrient content and form harmful free radicals in your body. Therefore, we choose to keep our flavoured nuts raw by drying them at a low temperature instead. A food is considered raw if it has not been heated above 47°C. Also, raw food should not be refined, pasteurized, treated with pesticides or otherwise processed in any way.

WHY ACTIVATED?
Activated nuts are regular nuts that have been soaked in water for a few hours, then dehydrated at a low temperature, until crisp and plump. This is done to stimulate the early germination and sprouting process within the nuts, which is believed to make them more nutritious and easier to digest.

WHY HIMALAYAN ROCK SALT?
Himalayan rock salt is a crystal salt mined from the salt range mountains of Pakistan, south of the greater Himalayas. This mineral-rich salt is not processed, heated, refined, or bleached, and no chemicals are added.
