These certified organic pumpkin seeds (also called pepitas) have a mild nutty flavour and make a great nutritious treat. Like most seeds and nuts, they contain predominantly polyunsaturated fats and are particularly rich in cholesterol-lowering phytosterols. They are high in fibre and protein and packed with valuable minerals including phosphorus, magnesium, manganese, copper, zinc and iron and provide a healthy dose of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, making them some of the most nutritious and flavourful seeds around. HOW TO MAKE PUMPKIN SEED POPS:

  • For something different, toast pumpkin seeds in a dry pan over high heat, until they begin to pop.
  • Heat until the popping slows, then season with a pinch of salt and enjoy.
